From Independent Contractors to a Unified Vision
Before becoming a single company with 75+ locations—some running for over a century—these were once independent businesses, each individually owned and operated.
Formed in 1996 outside of Nashville, several independent business owners realized they’d be stronger together and formed what is now Service Experts. Working with investors to fortify a formidable organization that could go public, they brought in leadership who could streamline systems and get Service Experts up and running as a single entity.
Building Strength Through Strategic Growth
This consolidation of independent contractors began a continued focus on combining with other strong local contracting and retail brands. By sharing resources and best practices, they were able to focus more on customers and less on competing with one another.
The drive to improve the customer experience has persisted throughout our history.
